The wind has taken me so long,
digging in a world of colliding stripes,
showing blood on human manners,
all the tears of unknown dead.
I got lost, got fallen apart.
You are raising the sounds of nameless claims,
assembling my straggled pieces to a pair of wings;
they fly, they bear with me,
to set a new direction,
where a stone became a pansy,
an empty sheet transformed into the bluest fairy-wren.
Here with you, down in the woods,
a novel heart was born into the ground,
near the lake, the waterfall,
the beauty we have seen,
you are my house
opening my eyes on shades of love.
